At the beginning of the month I enjoy several early visits to the hide, photographing Long Tailed Tit, Mistle Thrush, and Red Kite. The regular woodland birds are still continue to be frequent visitors the feeders. There is a noticeable increase in the numbers of Brown Hares seen on the way to the site, 47 being the most in one field. Little Owls
While taking a break from the preparations for my May exhibition I find time to photograph a pair of little owls which have appeared not far from my home. One evening while sitting to watch the Little Owls enjoying the late evening sunshine, I am treated to a fly by from the Barn owl carrying it's prey. I would seem that small rodents are in good supply this year. ......
