It's a bit busy here at the moment as we are getting ready for my annual Exhibition so visits to Little Wood are squeezed into the odd free hour, either very early in the morning or late in the evening. Having filled the feeders and retrieved the cards from the camera traps I sat down with a cup of tea the other evening and ploughed through he latest footage. The normal visitors, pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, and woodland birds all featured in most of the clips, it gets a bit repetitive when you have so much footage to check. About three quarters of the way through, Mrs Pebbles had gone to bed saying" give us a shout should anything 'different' appears" and I was thinking maybe it's a bit late to be doing this, when I was surprised to see a badger the first at Little Wood which has caused great excitement in the Pebbles household, we are hopeful that we will being seeing more.
NOTE: I think the bird flying away at the start of the video is a woodcock.
